New William Street Baptist Church

Reverend Alice M. Williams-Ellison
Rev. Alice Williams-Ellison is a born again Christian, and a child of God that he graciously extended as a daughter to the late Annie B. Williams. She is married to her best friend, Elder Joseph Ellison. She is the mother of four, has three grand-children, two God-children and is the oldest of three siblings.
Rev. Alice Williams-Ellison received her license to preach the word of God on November 23, 2009 and was ordained on November 21, 2010. She currently serves not only as the Pastor of New William Street Baptist Church, but also as the president of the Women's Ministry, "The Women of Inspiration".
The Women's Ministry became her passion after being a surviving victim of domestic violence. Serving as President she is a strong advocate against domestic violence and often serves as a mentor and aid for those who want to escape a bad situation for a better life. Rev. Williams-Ellison often participates in open forum discussions to tell the struggles of how everything the devil meant for her bad, God worked it for the good. She enjoys spreading the word of God and is not ashamed to proclaim, "You can't have a testimony without a test".
She was honored during Black History Month and was reconized as "A Black African American Woman Making A Difference in the Community". She was also awarding Leading Lady of the Year, and crowned the New William Street Baptist Church Woman of the Year.
Her favorite song is "Jesus Will Work It Out" and her Motto is "I Can Do All Things Through Christ That Strengthens Me". Her hobbies are working on the computer and spending time with her husband. Her main goal is to remain a faithful servant of God. If there is anything else you would like to know, just ask. She will likely reply, "I'm glad you asked" and happily answer any of your questions.
