New William Street Baptist Church

Elder Joseph Ellison

 

Elder Joseph Ellison is the Associate Pastor of New William Street Baptist Church. He is the husband of Pastor Alice M. Williams-Ellison. He is the father of four, three grand children, and is the oldest of two siblings. 

 

Elder Ellison was license and ordained to preach the word of God on January 13, 1986. He is also currently the lead singer of the legendary Southern Gospel Singers. 

 

Elder Ellison often travels in the gift God has given him as an Evangelist. He loves teaching, preaching, singing, and spreading the "good news" about the ministry of healing. 

 

His favorite song is "Precious Lord" and his motto is "God can work it out". His hobbies include fishing and singing. His main goal is to help build up the Kingdom of God and ministering to souls through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
